Day 1: Arrive at Lake Mburo National Park
After breakfast, depart for Lake Mburo National Park, which is one of Uganda’s newest National Parks. This drive will take you to Mbarara where you will stop for lunch. You will then continue to Lake Mburo. This Park is an extension of the Tanzanian plains with big herds of zebra, impala, eland and other ungulates. Bird viewing opportunities are excellent – for birders, this is one of the best places to find African fin foot, papyrus bush shrike.  After checking in, go for a game drive in the rolling hills and open grasslands. The lovely landscape is a home to Impala, Waterbuck, Eland, Zebra, Buffalo, Klipspringers, Crested Crane, and the elusive Shoebill Stork. Dinner and overnight at Mantana Tented camp/Rwonyo Rest Camp

Day 2: Game drive and boat trip
Have an early morning game drive, where by you will be able to see the sun risers and many more. Later, return to the lodge for a late breakfast and relax. After lunch, carry out a boat trip. View the water birds such as the Papyrus gonoleks, Brown-faced lapwings, Carruther’s cisticolas, the extraordinary White winged Warbler and Bare-faced Go-away bird. Dinner and overnight at Mantana Tented Camp or Rwonyo Rest Camp

Day 3: Transfer to Queen Elizabeth National Park
Have a morning breakfast and later proceed to Queen Elizabeth National Park following the mystical Rwenzori Mountain Range. Queen Elizabeth National Park’s diverse eco-system of grassy plains, tropical forests, rivers, swamps, lakes and volcanic craters is home to an incredible abundance of wildlife. You will have a game drive en route to view lion, elephant, leopard, buffalo, hyena and a variety of antelope species. Dinner and overnight at Mweya Safari Lodge /Kingfisher Lodge/Simba Safari Camp

Day 4: Chimpanzee tracking and boat trip
After breakfast have an excursion to Kyambura gorge to track the fast moving and elusive chimpanzees. This will enable you to view different monkeys and birding watching due to the presence of diverse bird species such as falcons, eagles, black-bee eater and raptors. After lunch, enjoy a launch cruise on the Kazinga channel into Lake Edward. This trip passes through possibly the highest concentration of hippos. This cruise offers an excellent platform for photography, bird-watching and game viewing. Dinner and overnight at Mweya Safari Lodge /Kingfisher Lodge/Simba Safari Camp

Day 5: Return to Kampala
Take a morning game drive while heading back to Kampala. You will have a stopover at the Mpigi Royal Drum Makers, where you will be in position to watch the ceremonial drums being crafted using traditional methods. Stop at the equator for photographs before proceeding to Kampala.
