After breakfast, drive to Bwindi Impenetrable Forest. This journey will take you south west of Uganda. You will have a stop over at the equator for photographs and continue to Mbarara where you will have another stop for lunch and then proceed to reach Bwindi in the late afternoon. In the evening you may go for a community walk where you will be entertained in some of the cultural dance of the community. Dinner and overnight at the Gorilla resort / Buhoma community Bandas
Day 2: Gorilla trekking
After an early morning breakfast, depart with packed lunch to report to the ranger station for a gorilla briefing. With an experienced guide, you will be lead to the forest through the undergrowth, parting thick creepers, to track the gorillas. When trekking, you will hear the grumbles of these great primates. This activity is adventurous and tiresome at the same time. If time allows, you may carry out bird and butterfly watching. Dinner and overnight at Gorilla Resort/ Buhoma Community Bandas
Day 3: Enroute to Kibale Forest
Head to Fort portal from Bwindi Forest after breakfast. You will have lunch enroute and on your arrival you will head for a swamp walk in the Bigodi Wetland Sanctuary. You will view the birds and monkeys that inhabit the swamp. Dinner and overnight at Ndali lodge, Rwenzori View Guest house / Primate Lodge Cottages
Day 4: Chimpanzee tracking
After breakfast, we shall move into the forest, for primate viewing. The activity starts at 8.00 am in the morning. A half day search for chimpanzee and other primates including; phoestes, red-colobus, blues, red-tailed and grey-cheeked Mangabey. The guide will provide detailed explanation, not only on primates, but also on all the forest’s fauna and flora and will insure that your walk is both informative and enjoyable. This walk is excellent for viewing bird life and seeing primates at close quarters. After lunch, have a visit to Bigodi where you will encounter rare, beautiful flora and fauna. Day 5: Return to Kampala
Take early morning breakfast while preparing to head back to Kampala
